I called to schedule an appointment for repair and CLC took the time, over the phone, to walk me through how to pressurize and get my backflow preventer from leaking and get my sprinkler system going. After our phone conversation, I had my sprinkler system up and running with no leaks in a matter of minutes. Thanks again CLC !!read more

CLC Landscape & Irrigation came out this week and did a fantastic job with our landscape project. They completed the project in a timely manner and helped to replace a couple of solenoids and timer that had worn out over time. I'm not sure where to start. CLC Landscape installed the landscaping and sprinkler system for the front of my house, before I bought it. As soon as I moved in, I realized that the drip lines didn't work, so I called them to come out, and they told me that they didn't wire the timer correctly. They rewired it, and the drip lines started producing a small amount of water. After a few weeks, I had them come out, yet, again because the drip lines stopped working. I guess they were getting clogged. They put in new emitters, and though most of the drip lines work, now, they don't produce anywhere near the 2 gallons of water per hour that they're supposed to produce. I'm not even getting half a gallon per hour, honestly. One of the drip lines has no water coming out of it at all, as they tapped into the drip line at the farthest point from this particular shrub, even though there is a point where this line runs very close to the shrub that they could have tapped into. The rest of the landscaping that they installed consists of rock and sod. The way they laid down the weed barriers for the rock wasn't right, and as a result I have all sorts of weeds all over the landscaping. They only installed a very small amount of rock, so you can see the weed barrier or patches of mud that are the result of not laying down this weed barrier, correctly, or using the correct amount of rock. The sodded areas of my landscaping have gaps around them and are missing patches of grass, as the ground doesn't look like it was prepared properly for the sod. The sprinklers get clogged, often, and two shrubs that they planted were not planted correctly, causing one to die, as a result. Also, I had them come out another time because I could not shut off the sprinkler system. This is just a 1 year old job, and my neighbors have similar complaints to mine.
Because my HOA advertises CLC Landscape, like crazy, in the letters that they send out, I thought that I had no choice but to go with them for everything. So, despite my complete dissatisfaction with their work, I called them to blow out my only 2 zones, but they wanted $75 to do it, as opposed to everybody else who charges just $45-$50, so I passed and just blew out the system, myself. At around this same time, I had them come out to give me a quote to landscape the backyard and the sides of my house, and they gave me a way over-inflated quote. I got a quote from several other landscaping companies, and they were all much lower than CLC Landscape. As a matter of fact, I found a company that saved me $2,000 on CLC's $7,500 quote, doing the same exact work and using the exact same materials as what CLC quoted me for. I'm comparing CLC Landscaping's work to this new company that I hired, and I'm blown away at the difference in quality of workmanship.
The guys that CLC employs are nice guys, at least, and maybe I'm just being a little harsh on them, but I've owned several houses, and I've worked on my own landscaping with each one, so I know how this work is supposed to be done, and none of it was done correctly. Now, I don't want to discourage anybody from hiring CLC Landscape; I just want to advise those that hire them to communicate with them about every bit of your project so that it is done to your absolute satisfaction. And, if you're like me and you bought a house that came with a CLC Landscaping job, make sure to check every bit of it or have it checked, if you can't do it.read more

Update: Carter's team came out to the house last week to relocate the valves and run a new mainline to get my sprinklers running in safe way. They hit a number of issues throughout the day (due to the poor design of the previous system), but were helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend their services!
I called CLC to repair a broken piece of PVC on our existing sprinkler system. Carter examined our existing sprinkler set up and found it to be poorly designed and unsafe. The location of the valves and lines inside our basement put us at risk for flooding and other issues. He was honest and fair in his assessment and not pushy at all for any high price repairs. We will be calling him in the spring for help with relocating our valves outside of our home where they belong. I would certainly recommend CLC to anyone!read more

CLC Landscape did an awesome job with are sprinklers and new sod.. Carter, has been very responsive on fixing and adjusting are sprinkler heads with the new installation in early June ... His customer service is incredible and he treats his customers with respect and values them.. He takes his time and does the right thing. I highly recommend this company and will most definitely refer them to family and friendsread more
